Oh so hyped, oh so loved, oh so worth it? Erm… Kinda.
So we've talked about my hair before. Fine, dry, damaged. You get the gist. Anyway ages ago I was in the market for a new hairbrush and I figured I'd give the Tangle Teaser a go.
Old news on the Bblogging circuit the Tangle Teezer claims to glide through wet 'vulnerable' (Ha! What an adjective!) hair with no pulling, tugging or yanking.
Does it do that? Yes. Yes it does. Is it perfect? No. No it is not. You see the thing is that yes, I can get the Tangle Teezer through my mane in a much smoother manner than my regular hair brush, and I do feel as though I'm subjecting my hair to less torment… but it's not totally smooth sailing.
The issue is that though the Tangle Teezer glides through the top 'layer' of hair if you like, it doesn't penetrate to the underneath. This means that I sort of have to separate my hair into sections when combing it, which is a little bit of a pain. It's not the end of the world or anything and it doesn't take very long, but I'd advise any of you out there with thick hair to give this purchase some real thought. Truth be told I'm just not sure the little guy would be up to the job of working it's way through a denser barnett.
So there we have it. If you've got fine-medium hair then yeah. I reckon go for it on this one. It is pretty wicked. You can pick them up in Boots for £10.99.
Catch ya on the flip side muther lickers.xxx
